SFEMS Technology connects the site to the cloud

The gateway is the connection between the field network and the monitoring platform. SFEMS LINK receives data from the site and passes it toward SFEMS CLOUD. This gives the device signals a route from the facility into the view used by the operating team.

Choosing that connection begins with the infrastructure already available. Ethernet, Wi-Fi and 4G are the network options described for the product. The deployment discussion should establish the suitable option, the installation position and the available power supply.

SFEMS Tech treats the gateway as one part of the full monitoring journey. MINI (E-device) nodes provide information at the extinguisher, while repeaters can extend the site communication path where required. The gateway connects that path with the platform used to review status and alerts.

SFEMS Technologies can discuss the proposed equipment layout in the context of your sites and teams. A useful plan identifies where devices will be installed, how they will communicate and who will review their information. Those decisions connect the physical installation with everyday monitoring work.

The site data journey

The handbook describes MINI (E-device) data travelling over LoRaWAN to the gateway, then to the cloud platform, dashboard and mobile app. Coverage and equipment placement are planned around the conditions at each facility.

Discuss the network layout with the team to establish the appropriate path between sensors, gateway and platform.
